ACADEMIC FACILITIES AND GENERAL INFORMATION
INFRASTRUCTURE: Jeevana Jyothi B sc College of Nursing has a very spaciously ventilated and well equipped building with all the needed amenities and is located in the heart of the city.
FACULTY
Our Institute has a team of highly qualified (B.Sc Nursing) and Experienced staff who help to mpart quality teaching and learning process throughout their academic training with the prescribed curriculum.
ACADEMIC PROGRESS AND CLINICAL EVALUATION
All the student are expected to maintain a high academic
and clinical standards, of performance throughout the
training programme. To maintain practical tests and
examinations will be conducted.
Internal assessment in each subject is carried out regularly at
every prescribed time and the internal assessment carries
25% weightage of the total marks.
Examinations: The students should appear for theory and
practical examination of the BGNM at the end of each
academic year as prescribe, All midterm examination and
two sessional examinations will be conducted every year by
the school.
PRACTICAL TRAINING
Our Institute is associated with reputed Health Care Units, Railway Hospital, Government General Hospital and Primary Health Center Tenali and its surrounding for purposeful practical training which plays a vital role in their academic development.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In view of the main aim of Training and Education for all- ound development of the Trainee, our Institute provides equipment and opportunities for the students to develop their skills and talents at various levels. We conduct sports and cultural activities along with lamp lightening and capping ceremony according to the academic plan.
VACATION
Vacations are planned according to the program of the course. If any student is unable to return in time after completing the vacation period, due to illness or for any other reason. It should be intimated to the principal immediately by telephone/e-mail followed by a genuine explanation. On return they should submit a medical certificate issued by Government Doctor with full particulars of their illness and treatment. Normally, no other leave will be granted except the planed vacation.
LAB
Our Institute has a spaciously ventilated, well equipped and furnished fundamental & Nursing Lab, Community Health Nursing Lab, Anatomy Lab, Nutrition Lab, Maternal Child Health Nursing Lab. with all the needed instruments and accessories. The labs ensure that the practical understanding of the subject is comprehensive and complete.
RESOURCEFUL LIBRARY
A library is an inevitable part of an education system because it excels the growth of knowledge." JJBNC” library has a rich stock of literature consisting of text books, reference of National and International magazines etc., with a comfortable study room.
TRANSPORTATION
The institute has a bus to carry our students along with the Faculty for practical training and other domestic purposes.
COMPUTER TRAINING
JJBNC intends the students to grow technically and to succeed in the present competitive world by providing a good computer lab assisted by qualified facility.
SPOKEN ENGLISH
We teach communication skills and conduct special English classes for the student’s in need. As we strongly belie e that medium plays a major roll for the student to excel in their career.
